Ten Popular Chess Blogs

The Kenilworthian is included in a list of "Ten Popular Chess Blogs" from Blogs.com. Looks like I'm just hanging in there at #10. I will have to post more often...

Hat tip to Jim West (who is #6).

I wonder how they picked the list.

I have no idea. However, I would like to point out that the sites are listed in alphabetical order. So relax, Michael! You're not #10!

Dana Mackenzie (also on the list)

Here's what they say about their selection process, at http://www.blogs.com/about.html:

How are the blogs chosen on Blogs.com?A team of editors scours the Web each day to find the best blogs and blog posts and features them on the site in categories ranging from Life, Entertainment, Technology, News & Politics and Business. More categories are coming soon. We don't use an algorithm to find the most linked to posts or most trafficked blogs - we have editors reading blogs and finding the interesting voices and posts to highlight. If your goal is to find the best in blogs, you've come to the right place. Got a favorite blog that's not featured on the site? Tell us: editor@blogs.com.

How can I have my blog featured on Blogs.com?If you'd like to be included in a category (such as Life, Entertainment, Technology, News & Politics or Business) tell us why. Use our Submit Your Blog form.

How can I have my blog removed Blogs.com?That's easy. Send us an email and the link for your blog at editor@blogs.com. and we'd be happy to remove it.

Not sure why this has been at the top of my "Popular Posts" for over a month, especially since the page it links to has been gone for over a decade. But you can use the Wayback Machine to find the page referenced from wayback when:
